Häusl am Stoan (Little house on the boulder)

Often-visited curiosity; one of the natural landmarks of the Ulten Valley. In 1882 it was still situated on meadowland on the right bank of the Falschauer. After a heavy storm, flood waters washed away the pasture and houses and it was the only thing left standing because by sheer luck it had been built on a giant boulder.
