A treasure waiting to be discovered

When bubbling creeks, quiet pines and soft hills come together, then it doesn't always have to be the Black Forest: all around Laurein (1,148 m), the southern-most village in the hiking wonderland of Ultental/Deutschnonsberg, you'll find a similar fairy-tale atmosphere. And with lots of spectacular views – these range, depending on where you are, from the Magdalena and Brenta group to the Presanella glacier to the world famous Rose Garden.


Laurein with its handsome, centuries-old mountain farmhouses and the late Gothic parish church, which has been standing there since 1500 at least, will entice you into a world that is very much like all of South Tyrol used to be: full of peace and relaxation for the guest, who wants to enjoy sweet idleness under the southern mild sun.
