Proveis – on the sunny terrace of the Ultimo Mountains

As soon as you arrive in sunny Proves/Proveis (1,420 m), the highest village in Alta Val di Non, you will realize how unique a place this is. The village is a real oasis of calm, with its narrow side streets and beautiful Neo-Gothic Parish church. The village has an extremely beautiful center and is surrounded by traditional, romantic small farms.
The views from Proves/Proveis are also unique. From here you can see the secondary mountains of nearby Trentino, and behind the mountains you can just make out the edge of Lake Garda. On the other side you can admire the Maddalene mountain range with its imposing peaks and traditional Alpine huts.

You will not find many hotels in Proves/Proveis, however, why not stay on a farm or in a holiday apartment, in a highly personal, cozy and familiar atmosphere.
