Maddalene Sky Marathon - a legendary mountain event

The Maddalene Sky Marathon track leads from Senale/Unsere Liebe Frau im Walde (1,351 m) in Alta Val di Non/Deutschnonsberg to Passo delle Palade/Gampenpass where the run crosses into the neighboring region of Trentino. From there the athletes reach Binasia hut via the legendary Bonacossa trail, then across Monte Pin and Stablei alp into Rumo on an altitude of 1,000 m above sea level. Part of this race is the regional championship skyrunning competition for Trentino & South Tyrol.
The track runs along an average altitude of 2,000 meters above sea level, with a total length of 44.5 km and a highest point of 2,420 meters (Monte Pin). The total difference in altitude of the climb is 2,905 meters, however on the descent a total of 3,256 meters must be covered. Along the route you will find unique views and a number of traditional inns and restaurants.
If you wish to watch and cheer on the participants, a shuttle service runs from the start to the finish area.
